I have personally cleaned, and tested every controller. I have made sure that the quality is up to my own standards in regards to speedrunning Super Metroid. 
Some controllers may have after market membranes (picture 3) to ensure consistent contact is being made. If you would prefer the controller to have only OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts, please let me know and I will see what I can do.
